Since 1993 "ARCHIMEDES MARINES" has been active in the field of construction of floating pontoons and breakwaters. The multitude of special and demanding projects that bear our signature and that we have delivered throughout the Greek territory adorn the ports and maritime zones of the country, have been become a pole of attraction for maritime tourism, serving the needs of tourist and commercial navigation while ensuring the highest level of provision services and maritime security.

The floating elements "ARCHIMEDES" are made of reinforced concrete. They are unsinkable and without ever losing their buoyancy because they consist of a reinforced concrete shell that does not allow water to enter its interior. The reinforced concrete additionally contained in the bottom of the floating element advocates for safety, giving the structure a floating stability like a fixed pier. We aim for the center of gravity of the floating element to be low, achieving a submersible part of the floating element by 2/3 of its height, therefore absolute stability and a sense of security.

In addition to floating elements (pontoons and breakwaters), our company can supply concrete anchors and chains, towers for water and electricity (widely known as pillars), lines and links, ropes and, in general, any kind of supply material deemed necessary for any construction of a floating element.
